About this Blog

Mission Statement

To provide valuable information aimed at helping Research Administrators grow personally and professionally by offering practical tips and insights on how to increase productivity, reduce unnecessary stress, and develop strategies for a successful career.

Welcome to Hobnobia.net, a fun place for research administrators to connect with each other, share knowledge, and gather information.

ImageMy name is Theresa Hollister (formerly Theresa Partell) and this site is inspired by my own personal experiences and an interest in sharing knowledge among my research administration colleagues. My objective with this site is to simply convey helpful information, articles, and tips relevant to the personal and professional growth of research administrators in a simple and easily digestible manner while at the same time providing a warm and welcoming community where everyone's contributions are respected and valued.

While I am by no means an official authority on all aspects of research administration, I do have a strong passion for learning and a drive to make myself the best darn research administrator I can be. It should also be noted that this site is not intended in any way to compete with the comprehensive services and programs offered by NCURA and/or SRA but rather to provide information and content to complement what they offer.

Whether you are new to the field of research administration, or have been in the biz for many years, my hope is that you will find the informaton presented on this site useful and valuable to your career as a research administrator. Feel free to participate as actively as you wish by rating the content, posting comments, and offering suggestions. Or, if you prefer, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the information presented herein. By the way, I'm looking for guest bloggers and contributors, so if you are interested, please contact me
